Dr. Nimira Alimohamed

Dr. Nimira Alimohamed is a Medical Oncologist at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary, Alberta, as well as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Calgary. Dr. Alimohamed was the principal investigator of a research study with the purpose of gaining an in-depth understanding of the patient experience along the bladder cancer pathway, which resulted in recommendations to address and circumvent gaps in the system.
In this webinar, Dr. Alimohamed will share the research findings, including practical steps that patients and their caregivers can take in order to ensure the best possible care and outcomes. Two bladder cancer survivors and Bladder Cancer Canada volunteers, Michele Zielinski (who was involved in the research study) and Randy Olson, will join Dr. Alimohamed to share insights based on their journeys.
