Purpose of Bladder Cancer Education Events

The goal of these events is to provide up-to-date information on bladder cancer, delivered in a supportive and community-focused environment. By attending, participants gain reliable knowledge about diagnosis, treatment options, survivorship, and research, while also building connections with people who understand their journey.

Expert Presentations and Topics Covered

At every event, participants hear from leading Canadian urologists and oncology specialists. Presentations typically include:

  • Non-muscle invasive bladder cancer: diagnosis, treatments, recurrence, and follow-up care
  • Muscle invasive bladder cancer: surgery, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and new treatment approaches
  • Research updates: the latest findings from clinical studies and innovations in care
  • Patient stories: real experiences that inspire hope and resilience
  • Live Q&A sessions: the chance to ask healthcare professionals important questions

These events are open to anyone seeking reliable information and support, including:

  • Patients at any stage of bladder cancer
