Our Patient Guidebooks, educational resources, and webinars equip individuals with essential information to ensure patients understand their bladder cancer journey.

Your Impact in 2023

In 2023, thanks to the dedicated support of our community, Bladder Cancer Canada made a profound impact by advancing research, providing vital resources, and offering unwavering support to those affected by this disease, including providing additional research funding to bring our total contribution to a remarkable $3.1 million since 2012.

Together, we:

Increased the reach of our support groups, now offering a total of 11 groups to support patients and their loved ones coast-to-coast-to-coast.
Introduced the live BCC Helpdesk, a toll-free support and information line for patients, caregivers, support teams, and individuals experiencing bladder cancer symptoms.
Expanded access to our Patient Guidebooks in four more languages – Hindi, Chinese, Spanish and Punjabi – so we can support a wider group of Canadians.
Released our new Caregivers Guidebook full of information and resources to help these critical supporters with caring for their loved ones throughout a bladder cancer diagnosis.
Enhanced our focus on Quebec-specific initiatives and Francophone programming.
Grew our One2One Peer Support Program, increasing the number of trained volunteers that support calls from Canadian patients.
