TORONTO – On behalf of the Board of Directors of Bladder Cancer Canada, Survivor and Volunteer Board Chair Ferg Devins is delighted to announce the appointment of Michelle Colero to the position of Executive Director for the national organization.
“Michelle brings incredible strengths to the Bladder Cancer Canada team,” remarked survivor and Volunteer Board Chair Ferg Devins. “She is an experienced leader in the not-for-profit sector with over 20 years of progressive leadership positions developing and executing strategies while delivering successful campaigns for local, national and international health, social services and environmental charities.”
“Michelle has a proven record in strategic and operational planning, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and various experts in the private and public sectors,” said Devins. “Given our mandate to deliver on patient support, increased awareness and research funding, I am confident that Michelle’s well rounded past management experience will continue to build momentum for Bladder Cancer Canada in the years ahead.”
Michelle joins a vibrant team with an active board of directors, and a dedicated partnered board of Medical and Research Advisory Boards. Bladder Cancer Canada is also grateful to the continued support of many volunteers, including Co-founders David Guttman and Jack Moon, as well as donors and pharmaceutical organizations.
