Upcoming Webinar: “Bladder Cancer: Challenges to Intimacy, Sexual Health and Pelvic Health.”

By Tawny Barratt | Uncategorized | Comments are Closed | 3 November, 2020 | 0

This French webinar, originally scheduled for September, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, November 24 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. ET.

In the face of bladder cancer, the challenges related to intimacy, sexual health and pelvic health may seem secondary, but they can have a significant impact on an individual’s quality of life and the life of a couple. There are supports and tools available to help you.

This webinar will address all the questions you never dared to ask in the company of two Quebec experts, Dr. Marc Steben, family physician, GMF La Cité du Parc Lafontaine and former member of the executive of the International Society for the Study of Vulvar and Vaginal Disease and Ms. Marie-Josée Lord, pelvic health physiotherapist and director of the Kinatex Specialized Clinic in Pelvic Health.

Our speakers encourage you to submit your questions to them prior to the event so that they can incorporate them into their presentations – send them to info@cancerdelavessiecanada.org no later than November 5, 2020. Presentations will be pre-recorded, which will also allow our speakers to address certain questions live during the session through the YouTube platform’s chat feature.

Register by November 11 at noon EST – please contact us by email at info@cancerdelavessiecanada.org.

NOTE: If you had registered for this webinar for the previously scheduled date, you do not need to re-register. We will email you the link to attend a few days before the event.
