GREG NEELY

In September 2015, Bladder Cancer Canada lost a passionate member of the Board with the passing of Greg Neely, Vice-President. Greg touched every one of us with his humanity, compassion and strength. For all of us, he was at times a friend, a lifeline, a supporter and a spiritual advisor. The strength of Greg’s commitment to helping fellow bladder cancer patients and caregivers was infinite. A frequent contributor on our web forums, Greg offered information, guidance, support and encouragement with compassion and a superb sense of humour. He inspired and brought comfort to many through his talks at patient meetings. Greg wrote many articles for Bladder Cancer Canada and for outside publications, and was the inspiration behind our Patient Guidebooks. He has chaired our Awareness Walk in Toronto and has been a positive presence at medical and patient meetings. Greg will be greatly missed by his fellow Board members and all of the Bladder Cancer Canada community.
