Ronald Moore (MD, PhD, FRCSC, FACS) Professor of Surgery and Oncology: Dr. Moore is a Surgeon-Scientist trained in the field of Uro-Oncology and Transplantation caring for patients with genitourinary malignancies ( bladder, kidney, prostate, testicular, penile and scrotal) and renal failure. He is the Mr. Lube Chair in Uro-Oncology research with 26 years experience in running an independent multidisciplinary translational research laboratory investigating novel therapies for genitourinary malignancies. Research projects have included the development of lasers, light delivery and dosimetry equipment, drug development, drug delivery techniques, rationale combination drug regimes, imaging strategies, oncolytic virus therapy, gene therapy, immune therapy, transplantation, animal model development, tissue banking, clinical trials and observational outcomes studies. Dr. Moore is involved locally, nationally and internationally with specialty research groups in uro-oncology and transplantation. He is involved in peer review of grants and manuscripts with multiple organizations and publishers. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles and over 200 abstracts.
