Dr. Jasmir G. Nayak
(BSc, BSc (Med), MD, FRCSC)

Dr. Nayak graduated from the University of Manitoba, Faculty of Medicine and subsequently completed his urological surgical training at the University of Manitoba in 2014, becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He completed a research and clinical Urologic Oncology Fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle before joining the Faculty at the University of Manitoba in 2016. He is an Assistant Professor of Urology. He is the former Research Director and the current Program Director for the Urology Residency Program. He is American Board of Urology, board certified. His clinical practice primarily involves the management of bladder, prostate and kidney cancer. His academic interests include health services research and improving patient-centered communication.
